Droylsdenavenged their earlier defeat at Stainton Park with this victory over relegation-threatened Radcliffe, and The Bloods were out of the blocks early as Ciaran Kilheeney’s shot struck the foot of the post.

However, it was Borough took the lead when two ex-Bloods combined, Matty Knowles finding Danny McLoughlin, which the latter looped over the stranded Craig Ellison.

Droylsden thought they had struck back immediately, but Fernando Moke’s effort flew over at the far post.  However, Michael Monaghan soon had them level, heading home Sam Hillhouse’s cross.

Kilheeney did find the net on 25 minutes to give The Bloods a half-time lead, which was extended on 64 minutes when Kilheeney found the bottom corner after a good run by Monaghan.

Borough made it interesting with ten minutes to go as the impressive Richard Smith converted a penalty, but Kilheeney secured the win with his hat-trick, scoring from close range after Chris Cheetham had saved point blank fromMoke.
