DROYLSDEN 3 – 2 HINCKLEY UNITED

Blue Square Bet North – Tuesday 26 February 2013

 by Gary Owen

Droylsden made hard work of basement side Hinckley United in this clash of the bottom two, but eventually secured three vital points in their desperate battle against relegation.

by Gary Owen

Trinity took three valuable points in their quest for a play-off place following a first half display that saw each of Trinity’s centre-halves scoring with headers, whereas Droylsden were reduced to ten men, which became nine in the dying seconds, as their disastrous season continues.

There were only 11 minutes on the clock when Craig Nelthorpe delivered a free kick into the Droylsden box for Luke Waterfall to jump highest and thump a header past Dale Latham.
