News from Phil Clarke tonight is that the operation he had this afternoon to insert a rod and set his broken leg was a success, this is great news and will aid a full recovery.
Everyone involved with the club continue to send him our good wishes and hopes that he will have a speedy convalescence and be able to return playing as soon as is possible.

Crossy advises us he is going home tonight and hopes to be able to come to the game on Boxing Day, good news

Our home game v Glossop North End which was scheduled for the 6th December will be re arranged due to their continued involvement in the county cup
The club are pleased to announce that we have signed Glyn Cotton.
The 30 year old attacking midfielder has played more than 400 Evo-Stik league games for clubs including Sheffield FC, Coalville Town and Lincoln United, as well as Belper Town and Stocksbridge Park Steels. His most recent club was Rugby Town.
Glyn will be available for our home fixture against Farsley Celtic tomorrow

Droylsden lost their replay 2-1 after a thrilling 4-4 draw at the Butcher's Arms
it will be their first outing in two weeks after their blank weekend having being eliminated in the preliminary round of the FA Trophy and their league game at Colwyn Bay being postponed due to the Welsh clubs participation in the same Trophy.
Droylsden will be looking to carry the firm which has won them points in the last two league games to continue at a ground when they won a vital three points in the league towards the end of last season.

The Bloods will be hoping for a dramatic turn of form over the next few days as they face two home fixtures with Kendal Town the visitors on Tuesday night followed by Goole on Saturday.
Kendal come on the back of a 2-1 defeat to Colwyn Bay on Saturday and stand mid table after winning five and losing five of their league games this season under the management of Dave Foster following a period of restructuring over the summer.
